Stone Enjoy After
I couldn't make this stuff up. Sometimes it's easy to make fun of Stone but everything they do seems to turn out well and make them money.
Now comes the Enjoy After series.

Here’s your breaking beer news of the day…and in a few days you’ll see it elsewhere so check it out here first! Stone will be launching a new series of beers that are called Enjoy After. This is the first edition and it will be Enjoy After 10.31.15. Playing on the success of their Enjoy By series of beers, this series takes the opposite tack and recommends you cellar the IPA until at least the date on the label so it has a chance to develop and mature. This IPA will be “spiked” at the time of bottling with Brettanomyces wild yeast and the date on the bottle indicates the earliest you should open the beer because that is how long it will take to be fully carbonated. Stay tuned for release details.

Re: Stone Enjoy After
So, this is the way to sell beer not ready to drink? Makes since, they don't waste room to store the beer waiting for it to carb/condition? Money in *their* pocket.
Life is short, live it to it's fullest!
Re: Stone Enjoy After
Man, I remember the days when you just buy a beer and drink it. I guess those were Enjoy Now?
Re: Stone Enjoy After
You gotta give it to their marketing people. The sure do know how to create a demand for their product.

Paul buys an IPA and waits...... , I think I wet myself a little.
Though one with Brett, should be worth the wait.

In the words of another Borg member: That is fookin' hilarious!
Re: Stone Enjoy After
Is the hilarious part making fun of poor ole Paul? If so, I'm laughing too. I think tomorrow I"m going to buy stock in Stone. I guess I should have done that before they raised 2.5 mil for new breweries.
Can you buy stock or are they privately held? I'm sure Greg Koch has all the money hidden behind the hop bags.

The French and Belgians and Elizabethan Brits and Germans have all made "Enjoy After" beers.
They just don't sell them to people until they are actually ready to drink.

Although I did just keg a Begian IPA with an Enjoy After date of 'carbed' LOL!
(in the keg Sunday but I slipped a couple out today... Almost ready...)

Re: Stone Enjoy After
No thanks. I have a hard enough time waiting for my own beer to be ready...
Fermenting: Bucket 1 - Fresh Squeezed IPA; Bucket 2 - Empty
Kegged: Keg 1 - Irish Red; Keg 2 - Cream Ale; Keg 3 - Amber Ale; Keg 4 - APA; Keg 5 - Empty; Keg 6 - Empty; Keg 7 - Empty
The reason why the above list is so small Home Theater Build

And I'm sure that if I put one of these away I would lose it.
