Broke down and popped a bottle of Chocolate Brown Ale. The change in yeast and carbing just a touch less than previous batches was just the tweak that this beer needed to be perfect. It's a little sweet with more pronounced chocolate and nutty flavors and aroma. Bittered just right, and medium-light body so it's easy to drink.

Pineapple Wit in a mason jar. I don't know what it is, but it was a lot more pronounced in pineapple flavor/aroma in the mason jar than in any actual beer glassware I've poured it into.

Had a couple pulls of the summer blonde. I have to be gentle with this keg, she is starting to feel awful light.......

A really sour and refreshing Dampfbier. I didn't know I made what amounts to a Berliner, but apparently I did. Only one other bottle of it left, I hope that one is sour too. (yeah I'm weird LOL).

Been a good day. Started by winning two season tickets and parking pass for my favorite college football team, then went to pick up my free case of ale from the hop pick at the brewery (as well as buying a sixer of the just released Fall Lager), then went to a nice little sour tasting at the bottle shop (took home a couple bottles of New Holland Incorrigible Reserve White Sour Ale that were passed to me all speakeasy like from the hidden supply in the back ($5.50 per bomber... are you kidding me?)), celebrated a birthday with the boy, and then finished with this, which was gifted to me this weekend:

Well, yesterday was a sad day. Had to remove my hat and say goodbye to a gorgeous summer blonde ale. Another keg bites the dust, may it RIP. I've got 5 gallons in the fermenter, won't be ready to keg until ... wait... TODAY! Well, I guess I'm gonna force carb and see just how fast I can drink 'er, hopefully by next weekend. Until then, FITland is a dry county. Here Crown, come here... papa needs ya. Could just be a week of clearing out my system awaiting arrival of my hoppy blonde.

Yazoo Bell's Bend Preservation Ale, the beer made from the hops I helped pick a few weeks ago. More bitter than last year (around twice as many hops in the mix this year, so not a surprise). On tap this week for the first time, and I have a nice case of bombers of it. Sweet!
