Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
You were going back and forth on the yeast for a while, right? What did you decide on this time?
Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
I used 04 last time but got some fresh (not washed or harvested) 007 to use this time.
I've used 007 for a number of my IPA's and really like it. It's a nice switch to 001 which is my house yeast.

007 is the James Bond of yeast.

Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
I actually can't decide what I want to brew next. I've been enjoying so many good commercial craft beers lately that I haven't been inspired.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
I'm gonna brew a 2.5 batch of Rushin' Pale Ale today. It's just light DME, a little 40L, and some Cascade, but it's a decent beer; created earlier this year when I was real busy at work, very tired come the weekends, but still wanted to brew. Next week I'll make a 2.5 batch of Scramblin' Amber, which has the same history and similar EZ ingredient list. It's good to have really simple recipes like this on hand, I've found.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
This is what I am looking at for next weekend.
It is a take off of a recipe russki passed me on the old Mr Beer website to
try as a low alcohol brew.
Found one yesterday that had been in the fridge for almost a year and the flavor
is Wunderbar!
Now, I gotta do it as a full blown recipe!
Any suggestions are welcome!

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Working on a starter right now. I'm brewing again! First time since early spring, I think. I plan to do my red ale, but I also need to finish off these last three Mr. B extracts from the contest, as they have all passed the expiration date. So... I may do one to three of them as well. I will do the winter ale with some spices, the oktoberfest close to straight up, and the pale ale with some hop addition, as well as the addition of dandelion syrup. I also have a kvass extract. Don't know that I'll do all this weekend, but I'll likely do some.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Picked up grains, yeast, and hops for a hefeweizen recipe I'm developing. I took a page from Jamil's book and kept the bill real simple, in hopes that it turns out into a very classic, banana-y hefeweizen.
