Which to Brew First??

I can not decide which to brew first. What say you? Any way to set up a poll?
CASCADE MOUNTAINS WEST COAST IMPERIAL IPA
or
KIWI EXPRESS IPA

I am also debating about a new yeast to try. I have always used Wyeast 1056 for my IPAs. Planning on adding the late addition hops post boil in a hop stand.

I wanted to do both of these last year but don't like buying kits anymore. I can't get the hops for the Kiwi locally so I say to go with the DIPA first.

To do a poll, when you start a thread, in Full Edit mode, look at the bottom left for 'Poll Creation'.
I'm not 100% sure that it can be done once a thread has started but I can try to do it for you if I know exactly what you want to do? Did you just want those 2 listed?

The 2 kits and a couple of yeasts. What is this full edit mode you speak of and how do you access it?

When you are ready to reply, default is set to Quick Reply. Once the box open for you to type, next to the Submit button, you should see the Full Editor button. Click on it and you have other options.

I dont know about you, but I have a boatload of Cascade taking up valuable freezer space and the Cascade Mountains looks like just the ticket to eat some of it up! Me thinks that may be my next brew!

Hmmm, I doubt seriously I have it just because I'm a mod but, here's what I get when I go to reply.

and then I have this option which gives me more options.

If no one else is seeing this, I'll find out if it's because I have super powers or not though I'm not thinking that's the case.

Well, this comes down to personal taste doesn't it? Personally, I'd go for the Kiwi Express but I would also swap out the Wakatu and Motueka for "brighter" hops like Citra and Mosiac. Then again, I think bittering with Nelson Sauvin is a waste so I would likely swap that out with Warrior or Magnum.

And now you have option #3, sorry.


I have the option for FULL and have used it many times.

See, Ron can use that function and he's certainly not special.
I looked thru all the settings and don't see anything that mentions this option unless I missed it. I can say I don't use the default, black theme and use the plain white (and blue) but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

If you hit POST A REPLY and not QUICK REPLY you are already in FULL EDIT mode.

What Ron said.....HOWEVER, the "Poll Creation" tab which is usually right next to the "Upload Attachment" tab doesn't show up when your replying to an existing post. It looks like it's only there when your originally starting the thread.
