I don't think I'd use that equipment again! Maggots.......don't like them but I guess you can make a Maggot Protein IPA if that's your thing.

I would have to say that sanitization was not done properly on this one! Did he cap it with a fly in there!!

Just can't bring myself to hit the start button on that one. :blink:

On the other hand didn't they used to use maggots to eat decaying flesh in gun wounds in the old days?

Maybe the guy just wanted to get his beer clearer. :whistle:

I've had fruit flies get up under my lid. But not all the way in.

So I've never made maggot ale.

My wife works for the Dekalb County Medical Examiners office, we discuss worse things than that over dinner.

I wonder if some Brett, would chew through all that protein and make a decent sour? :o

yes, maggots only eat dead flesh. so they'll actually "clean" a wound of infection
