It's all good!
Well, after a long absence and all the spam issue the BeerBorg Social suffered we are finally back up and running! Unfortunately the old format wasn't quite as robust as I had hoped it would be and as a result of being inundated by the spammers I abandoned that platform for something I know and trust! So here we are with an actual forum format which many of you are much more familiar with and comfortable with.
There will continue to be improvements as time allows and I hope that this forum will continue to grow to meet the needs of the BeerBorg community!
Cheers and RDWAHAHB!

This looks great, Lou! The text could be a little brighter so that it's easier to read, but the design is fantastic

Lou Great to see the site is backup. Got tired of the old site calling me a spammer.
Format is OK but a bit difficult to read with the back background and dark links
Will post a new into later

Re: It's all good!
Thanks for the input vmaxept/Roger. I am still trying to deside which theme/look and feel will work best. I like this dark one but it is hard to read. Good news Is I can change it pretty easily.vmaxept wrote:Lou Great to see the site is backup. Got tired of the old site calling me a spammer.

I'm sure you're probably trying out different looks now. I like the blue that is here right now. Provides a nice contrast and the text seems easier to read. Keep up the good work!

Awesome! Can't wait to see them. And hopefully we can start recruiting some membership, the site is coming together nicely.
A quick question, though. Are the Taproom and this forum separate? I created an account at both sites, so I am guessing yes, I just wasn't sure I accidentally doubled my membership.

Louie the place looks awesome!
I'm making this my new home, want to post to recruit MR. B users but that would probably be frowned upon.
I'm not mad at Mr. B....I mean they got me into beer and I want them to succeed, but damn their forum is horrible right now!

Re: It's all good!
I checked the MB forum rules, and while it says not to promote competing products, it does not say not to promote competing forums. But, yeah, I haven't been able to bring myself to do it yet either. If only that site had PMs we could just PM everybody!jivex5k wrote: I'm making this my new home, want to post to recruit MR. B users but that would probably be frowned upon.

Re: It's all good!
If I posted something asking people to move over I would most likely be banned! But If someone else posted something (or added a link in their signature) offering a place to meet until Mr. Beer irons out the bugs it might be passable!
