Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Re: Pictures
In the woods and helping my 78 year old neighbor and my best friend cut his fire wood.
I can get my jeep right down to the action, but we are hauling it out with a tractor and wagon.
This is a Big Maple tree, I'm using a saw with a 28 in. bar and have to cut on both sides to get through.
Sometimes I feel old at 57 and can't do what I use to. but I'm the young kid on this and I do all the cutting (back hurts after and need beer and a hot bath with epsom salts)
But my old buddy John loads them blocks with his tractor and loader and splits and piles them himself.
I hope when I'm 78 I can still do that.

When I'm 78? LOL, I can hardly do that now at 57. Love the Jeep!

TY Roger and FIT, but you have a real nice ride Gymrat, That("stang") nice. Old jeeps like mine are crude, evil handling, geared low and no overdrive and not good gas mileage, but they are fun to have and will go most anywhere they're pointed. I have had a few of them over the years and I put up with their downfalls. Just a fun vehicle to have.Gymrat wrote:I really like your jeep.

Here's another great way to relieve those "I hate my job" blues...
