I'm in with the no beard crowd, not from lack of trying. A mild goat-tee is all I can do unfortunately. Being from a family of guys who can grow beards except myself, an uncle, and my grandfather, I almost feel outcast, but being the only homebrewer makes up for it. And don't worry evily, if you want a beard bad enough, modern medicine can make it happen!

fwiw I always considered a goatee a style of beard
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Well then, I'll take it and that's what I shall consider it as well!

I see a couple of guys at work wearing these tee-shirts that say, "Bearded, Inked and Awesome". I figure since I already have two of them covered I might as well grow a beard and get me one of those tees also. The problem is that the Fire Department won't allow me to grow a beard.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
