New Article on BeerBorg.com: So you want to start brewing...

Post by LouieMacGoo »

For years I had always thought about how cool it would be to brew my own beer. To be able to reach into the refrigerator and grab a bottle of beer hand it to a friend or relative and say, “try this, I made it” and watch their faces as they take the first sips of the wonderful elixir that I created. But I always seemed to have something else to do, I was always “too busy” working or raising my family to get into brewing! The fact was I was afraid to start something that was either too complicated and/or too expensive and have it turn out like crap. Ahh, if I only knew then what I know now I could have been brewing beer and enjoying the hobby of brewing a lot sooner.

Sadly, I am too tired to give this my full attention. Bad night last night, and a tough day today, so I'm just watching Gotham, getting updates on the 'Skins/'Hawks game, and hittin' the proverbial hay early.

I'm gonna read this tomorrow morning, over my first mug of coffee, though. I have no doubt it will be a top-notch piece.

You've hit the nail on the head with this article, it's something I think every brewer goes through in the beginning. It's almost comical too for those of us who have been brewing for years ever since first starting out. Imagine not knowing if we should invest in another LBK or liquid yeast because we're afraid the beer may not taste good.

Louie I gave you a bump on my Facebook page, nice job keep up the good work!

All of you writing articles about your brewing experiences and systems have inspired me. I think I will pick a few different topics and see what comes out on paper.

My first article will be called "Size Doesn't Matter"
