I have a problem... My Pumpkin Ale is disappearing way too fast. It will never make it to Halloween..........

My wife's school did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. In the video, she's the fourth one getting soaked, wearing the light blue shirt at :40.

 Got Hired at U-Haul in the parts department. It's going to be strange having a job where they let you off on weekends and holidays. Never had one of those jobs before.

Gee, I guess you'll have to spend all that spare time brewing. Dagnabbit, what a rotten predicament!

My daughter just requested that, at Christmas, we watch "Die Hard" with beer and cookies and popcorn.

I don't know how well the cookies will go with the beer, but I'm all over the rest of that stuff like a monkey on a cupcake!

At a baseball game I once saw a man get chocolate ice cream and a beer, which would have had to have been Bud Light, Miller, etc because that is all they served at the stadium. It wasn't that one item was for him and one item for another because this man was sitting a couple rows down from us so I saw him consume both. This man also wore 2 watches, one on each wrist. I'm not sure what the logic was behind either of these decisions, the beer and ice cream nor the 2 watches. It was interesting nonetheless.

DR- maybe he had a 3rd watch on the other arm that you couldn't see. it would be like the 3 stooges..paraphrasing:
moe sees curley with 3 watches on his arm, 'hey knucklehead whats with all the watches'?
curly: well the first one is ten minutes slow every half hour. the one on the end is 20 minutes fast every hour..and the one in the middle stopped at 3pm.
moe: so what time is it?
curly pulls out pocket watch: quarter to three!

or something like that.

I never thought of it that way but it could very well be. Lots of "characters" in that area; not sure if it was something in the air, water, or maybe both.

Yipee-Ki-yay, "Mister Falcon".
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
