Thank so much everybody for the warm welcome! I look forward to learning a lot as I don't know nothing about nothing 
My neighbor got me into this. One day he invited me over for a beer and told me he had brewed it. I didn't mind being a guinea pig for free beer so I brought the cigars and we sat on his patio and sampled two beers he had brewed - an ale and an IPA. Both were excellent and when he told me they were brewed from a kit I got interested, thinking maybe I could do that. So here I am hooked into this new hobby and soaking up all the information and tips I can. So thanks for the offer of help, I need it and I appreciate it!

Thank you. Yes, 15 so far. I haven't tried them all, but the ones I have tried have all been excellent. We've become such a beer city that two of the majors are building plants here. It's a good place to live if you like beer.Gymrat wrote:Welcome aboard M42. 15 microbreweries? Nice!

Having a lot of local micros is great for exploring all the variety you have for your own brewing if you get to go to them very often (lots of new brewers have only tasted mass produced commercial lagers) you may find a lot of other home brewers hanging out there.
We'd love to know a little more about what you have going and what you've brewed, especially if there are krausen pictures involved.
