It's been unbelievable how much support we have received within 24 hours of the fundraiser going live - and I'm not just talking about the money. Reaching out to us, sharing Natalie's story with friends and family, keeping us in your thoughts and prayers - all of this has been tremendously helpful. I feel so fortunate to be a part of this community!

The words cannot describe how grateful we feel. THANK YOU!!!

Good luck with the battle! It is curable, we have had personal experience with this, my wife's sister had breast cancer. Good Doctors, good meds and care got her through it, now she is clear (2 years so far) and leading a normal life. Keep your head up!

Donated, hope it helps, hope you have good insurance.
Life is short, live it to it's fullest!

Russki, I just have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at the support you're getting on your fundraising. Your at almost 80 percent of your goal, up from less then 50%! The world is an amazing place with a lot of great people and I know your family will beat this! No worries mate we are there for you!

Also I plan to send you some homebrew as soon as I have some ready to help you celebrate the small victories everyday!

It definitely is a nasty disease. I was just informed this morning that a close friends daughter, who has battled cancer since she was a child, is going in for a double masectomy because of breast cancer. I think she is 36-38 years old also. The good news is that this is a beatable disease. Many have defeated it and many more will. Prayers to your family.

Andre, I've made a small donation. It's not much, but I know every little bit helps.

My mother is a survivor. My mother-in-law, sadly, was not. As a result, this is something that strikes close to my heart. I am concerned about my wife and my daughter, and I'd love nothing more than to see this scourge wiped off the face of the earth.

Stay strong, my friend. I wish you and your family grace, strength, and peace in the coming months.

Andre - I am so sorry to hear this news. Put simply, I cannot imagine what you and your family are going through! News like this puts perspective on everything we discuss here.

I have started/stopped and re-written this post numerous times, and the only part of the message that remains each time is:

Stay strong. Tough times don't last, but tough people do.

I am not a religious person, but I will keep your family in my thoughts. May you and your family get all the support you need to get through this most difficult time.

We can hardly believe it - less than a week after setting up the fundraiser, we have already met our goal - not in a small part thanks to the awesome people of the Borg! Please continue to keep Natalie in your thoughts and prayers - we can use any help we can get!
