This is the first time since I started brewing that I have had no Red Ale in the house. Today I will be brewing the following. I tinkered with my red ale recipe constantly until I came up with one I liked. Since then this is the 4th time I changed it. For this edition I am replacing 2 row with Marris Otter and I am using some Munich. I am dropping the Special B.

The MO with this is going to be good.

Re: Ralph's Knucklehead Red 4th Generation
MO and Munich are my favorite grains. Throw in some caramel and black malt for color and this should be the best red ale I have ever made. I used American ale yeast as opposed to British to showcase the flavors of the malts.
