Any ETA on the 6G conical from BrewDemon?
Christmas is coming soon and people are starting to think about gift ideas.
I'm currently looking at the Spiedel fermenter but would consider the 6G conical if there is any information on ETA, details, etc.
Can we get an update?

Same here. I'd also like to know a possible price range.Kealia wrote:Christmas is coming soon and people are starting to think about gift ideas.

Good judgment comes from experience, which comes from poor judgment.

I know that the BD 6 gal conical is real and it should be available before the holidays. I don't know exactly when or a price but as a brewer you know that patience is usually rewarded.

I appreciate that, but maybe Sam can share something with us?
If anything, maybe dimensions? Part of the decision process (for me at least) is going to be how it fits into the fermenting chamber.

Yep, me too. Are there any pictures or specs of the new conical?

Sorry Louie/Sam, not trying to start a witch hunt. But like I said, the holidays are a comin' quick!
I know all will be shared in due time. Some of us are just hoping that due time is soon

Hey Guys,
Sorry it took so long to jump in, but it has been crazy busy around here!
As you may know, after receiving my samples back in August…there were some tweaks that needed to be made and material that needed to be matched. And as usual, this all took longer then expected. The material finally shipped (2 days ago), so in the next 7 days the material should arrive and we can start pumping out fermenters. Once I get my final sample and everything checks out…then it’s just a matter weeks before they hit the shelves.
Specs: Without its base the fermenter stands approx. 23 inches tall and 12 3/4 inches wide. With the base it stands approx. 27-28 inches tall and 15 1/2 inches wide.
We are hoping to have these available by late November. Cheers!

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Thanks for sharing the details, much appreciated.
I'll be keeping an eye out for this.

Dammit. Just measured my mini fridge and because of the hump in the back it's not deep enough.
It's not deep enough for a Speidel either so maybe it's time to look for a new one that doesn't have the hump in the back. Other than buckets, or carboys this severely limits my fermenting options.

I hate when that happens...
Freezer I got from in-laws seemed great until I realized shelves were fixed and bottom is 1/2 size due to compressor. Only 2 LBK can fit on my ramps and only 1 with a cookie sheet under it. Nothing taller.

My Ale Pales measure 13 x 18 , 13 x 22 counting the air lock I measured my chamber and 22 inches tall is the maximum I can fit.

It'll be tight, side to side only got 32" to play with & they'll take up 31". I'll have to trim the legs so I get a 24" over all height, and use blow off tubes. Then I can fit them in my fermentation chamber.
