Sixty Days...

Post by LouieMacGoo »

...until Christmas! What do you want from Santa?

Me, I want a grain mill so I can start buying grain in bulk and have everything on hand for any ad hoc brewing. :-)

Yup! That is my one request! A Barley Crusher with 7lb hopper. After my last brew session of grains that didn't look crushed enough that made the jump to the top of my list. My other items are kegs and some other misc. brewing stuff that I haven't determined yet.

Love my Barley Crusher too! May take a little road trip just before Christmas to Oregon coast, or Victoria, BC.

As far as brewing equipment, I'm pretty set since I got my keezer up and running recently.

I'm sure one thing or another will need to be replaced, like my auto-siphon. It's getting maybe a little tired, but it still works fine. If it goes toes-up before Crimmit, I'll let people know I need a new one, and how to get it.

There are some brewing/beer T-shirts I'd really like, like the Reinheitsgebot shirt I saw online. But I wouldn't cry if I didn't get one.

I just want peace and happiness for the whole world, an end to violence and war, an end to Ebola and of course, 26.5 million dollars so when the shyte hits the fan, I can run to my private island.
I actually think I'm pretty good with my brewing equipment for a bit so I'll just be happy watching what you guys get for Christmas.

There's no room on the "telly" for Christmas commercials right now. All the ad space is being taken by political commercials.

For Christmas I would like to see a mass boycott of any store that opens it's doors on Thanksgiving Day.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Preach it, Brothah! If a company puts profit above family, they don't get my custom. Spread the word, so retailers get the message.

What I want more time to brew and the metabolism of a high schooler!

And good point about the ads and Thanksgiving weekend. I worked at Best Buy for a few years during Black Friday...brutal. Decided that shopping on that day is not for me...
