Welcome aBorg!

Making good beer is very easy if you follow all the advise here. The only thing between brewing a good beer and a great beer is a little bit more time as you start to add additional steps like hops, steeping, adjuncts, etc. But the key as has been mentioned is patience. Too many brewers have quit when they tried the Mr Beer beer in 10 days and it tasted like garbage. Unfortunately, that is what those directions were. Three weeks in the tank and 4 to carb and condition in most cases will give you very good beer.

Glad you found us.

If you want to post your info for the batch you are brewing in the beginner brewing section folks will have alook and offer suggestions or answer any questions.

There is also a lot of great info already posted that you might enjoy reading.

Hope the new batch turns out better than the others. A lot of people aren't satisfied with the first few kit brews they do but experience and learning what little tweaks and additions they can make usually helps them really enjoy this hobby.
