I just popped in to see if you guys were talking about reds or ambers. I prefer an American Amber to an Irish Red so I'll just move along....

BeerRust have you just been trespassed upon by a color blind person.
For more red, try adding 4 to 6 oz of 80L crystal next time. Even more crystal then that in a 2.5 gallon batch is fine. A good bit of crystal is totally appropriate in a red.

Ok. That's good to know. I will keep that in mind for the next one.
But I will see, I am due to bottle this one on Thursday. The temps are dipping a bit around here so I will cold crash for a few day after another taste test to see if it is ready.
