5 Years!

Post by philm00x »

Yesterday was my wife and I's 5th wedding anniversary, and we didn't get eachother much in the way of gifts, but just shared the whole day together. Otto the Hotdog got to go to the dog park for the first time, and he had a blast! Had a picnic with some Lunchables and fruit, and then had a wonderful dinner at Cheesecake Factory. The more time goes by, the more we learn that time spent with eachother is the best gift we can give eachother. She's my best friend and I couldn't picture myself growing old with anyone else.

Congrats guys! I wish you many more years of happiness.
John and I have a close date.....we'll make 30 years on December 29th. My 25th cost me a trip to Italy. I'm going much cheaper on the 30th by having part of our backyard paved with a fire pit. Phil, get use to shelling out the bucks as the anniversary's grow. :)

A big Congrats! to you and your bride.

Now get out there and drink some beer!

By the way...Did you happen to see Penny at the Cheese Cake Factory?
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
