Every year it seems even us Minnesotans need to re-acquaint ourselves with winter driving. We got up to six inches of the stuff scattered throughout the state over the weekend and many, many accidents state-wide.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

WOW you guys are awesome (well go figure this is the Borg after all) on the driving in snow deal.

When I posted it I thought I was joking but now am much more comfortable knowing that there are things I can prepare for in advance of our trip.

BB2 is making hotel reservations/inquiries for wheelchair accessible rooms as I type this, another challenge we have faced whenever we wanted to go anywhere( whether two days or ten).

It looks like we will have to tear up another bathroom so he can maneuver in it so we can get a house while the new buyer here will be tearing out the bathrooms we made to be accessible.

Hey If the new owners are happy here that is all I ask for. It is different when you custom build a home and sell it than just reselling one in a subdivision I think I've just learned.

I want you all to know that BB2 and I thank you mucho gusto for supporting us with your posts on the Borg I know you've seen other members drop off during moves and come back but I am going to try and stay "attached" to my spot if I can.

NO NO we have our little nest spots here all cozy nice and warm... the droppings we save for RB posts around the threads.

BB2 is now a happy camper (well hotel stayer) he was having a very hard time finding a room in the Nashville area but just got one a minute ago.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to travel when a single grab bar in a bathroom makes all the difference on if you can get a room or not.

Now we face the trepidation of actually arriving and the rooms we reserved matching what the reservation agent promised. He could write a book about this kind of stuff.
Not complaining about the folks who try to help him it is just that until he is actually there looking it is impossible to tell if he will be okay.

As I type he is letting out a sigh which is of both relief and concern. When we lived in Florida many years ago and had to bug out for hurricanes it was a nightmare.

We had short notice, had to meet his needs, AND were evacuating our mom, grandmother and pets. All the while the rain bands had already arrived so we slogged through that with thousands doing the same thing and somewhere out there ONE room would work for him.

I don't know if I've told you guys that I love this brother of mine, he is AAAAMAAZIIING, and we move onward, meet all challenges and take it to the house if/when there is a challenge.

We love you guys supporting us through this, especially the humor, joking, wit thing, ( OH Boy now I've done it) since there is always a chance to let worry and stress take over.

ONWARD AND UPWARD BIRDS THERE IS BREWING TO PLAN
