Love brewing on a day off

Post by Beer-lord »

Got my Stout-nilla going with RedBEERd's help and enjoying 69 degree weather!
In the messy background is our 30 year anniversary present to each other (my wife, not chuck)
Gotta lot of yard work left to do. Only took them part of 3 days to complete.

Awesome.....taking the day off to brew is the best. Will the Stout-nilla be making its way to Nashville?

Possibly. I'm not happy with it. Not nearly enough barley and too much flaked barley. It was thick and I wonder if the lack of roast is to let the vanilla shrine but I want a stout WITH vanilla not a vanilla stout.
Too late now and who knows what to expect but it gets raves on HBT. I guess I can ship a few to swen so we can make fun of me.

I brew every Sunday, which is the only day I always have off. But sometimes I mix it up when I have extra days off, or a vacation week.

Nothing like a good brew day during the week to keep a guy happy.
