I love that Ballast Point, and also that LH Nitro. Let me know what you think of the Kentucky BBS. Alltech doesn't have the best rep around these parts, but I think it's a fairly decent BBS. It's not Goose Island or Founders, but it's decent. I like it a fair bit better than the ale version.

TBH, I got the Kentucky BBS because I really loved their Peach Barrel Wheat. I've been on a stout tasting endeavor lately so I figured I'd try it. The LH Nitro I got in order to get a badge on Untappd, lol. I've had it before. It's decent, but it's not as sweet as I thought it would be.

World Market had their mixer sixers 20% off for the weekend. Of course I had to make one up.

From L to R- Kona's Castaway IPA, Big Wave Golden Ale, Shipyard American Pale Ale, Paulaner Salvator doppelbock, Widmer Hefe, and Bison Organic Chocolate Stout.

Can't seem to count to six.
Had a Lucky Bastard in my hand to buy when I saw a Stone 4 pack box that had, Lucky Bastard, Double Bastard, Arrogant Bastard and Bourbon Barrel Arrogant Bastard. They only release the Bourbon Barrel in the 4 pack. $27 for the pack, less than 7 per bomber. Picked up the Clown Shoes Barleywine for "Research". I have that 10 gallon rum barrel that needs to be filled, before I sour it.

I wish Stone didn't paint the labels on their bottles. They're easy to cap.

It's not a mixer-sixer but these are a couple of seasonal beers that I've been waiting to be released and will be enjoying with my Thanksgiving turkey...And ham...And stuffing...And...Well, you get the idea...

And, being the child that I am, I couldn't wait 'til Thanksgiving to open them. Mmmmm! They be tasty!

Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

It's like my Mom used to say as I was protesting her mixing my corn/peas into my mashed potatoes: "They get mixed up in your belly anyway."

It's funny - I'm planning on buying 4 or 5 mixer-sixers tomorrow during the Amex offer, and was very surprised that the grocery store by also charges more for a six of a few beers then they do if you handpick 6 of them, since they give 10% off the mixer-sixer.

Yes I know it's 4 of the same. Nice to have people in it right places. Goose Island Bourbon County at 13.8%, these will age very well.

Wife and I went out to breakfast, $6.06 after American Express picked up $20 of the tab.

Picked up 6 Bell's Kalamazoo Stout, 6 New Holland Cabin Fever Brown, 6 Short's Bellaire Brown, 5 Founder's Porter (all they had), 6 Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, and 1 Dragonmead Final Absolution (trying it at Phil's suggestion, never had a Trippel).

Total cost - $57.86, less deposit = $54.86 (including tax).

After American Express Small Business Sunday, cost $4.86. PRICELESS

These were mixer-sixers (well most of them) as the store sell's 6 individuals for less than a six pack because they give you a 10% discount.

Plan on comparing the two brown's to Rick's Best Brown (Bell's clone) and the Porter's to the White House Honey Porter.

Deep dish pizza tonight, around $2 after American Express pays $20.

It's off to the liquor store for me tomorrow. I've been waiting for this to come out again!

Hope you get some Chuck. It's hard to find down here. The store only got one case, luckily I'm good friends with them. Danny called and ask if I'd like some, the rest had sold by the time I got there.

It's not a mixer, but a sixer that rubber ducky approves of. Got some Kona fire rock pale ale and some Ben n Jerry's on sale at Publix.
