I guess you can but again, my apologies for sending subpar beer. I really think another week would be best.
I'm drinking my keg hopped version (read as, the good one) right now.
What I plan to do to the 2 bottles I have here is use the Randall Jr. and hop it up to give it some aroma. YMMV.

No problem, I'll keep it out another week and then chill it and drink side by side with Jeff's next weekend.
Thanks!

Why don't you do a side by side with my RIS!!!!!!.......you, you non lover of anything dark.........oh,........ sorry.......that's the beer talking. It's been a long week  and it seems any time my glass is empty I refill it. :o

I see your Levitation everyday Paul, one more week it is. If you'd like, I'll drink it with some Amarillo hops in my mouth. :)
Trust me, from the tap with mine, I'd get Amarillo burps. I know what you mean. :clink:

Be back in a few, my glass is empty. ;)

I'm still sucking on this stuff. It's better now than ever and finally, I'm near the end. This is the longest it's taken me to kill a keg. The darkish-ness scares some from touching this. Again, the keg hopping saved this beer.

I think I may be gearing up for a re-brew on this one. I'm currently without a redhead in the house (amber) and I don't like that. One should always have an amber in the rotation.

Of course, I haven't brewed anything for my own consumption since the Fresh Squeezed so I'm going to run dry soon. I see a mizer sixer in my near future. And a Levitation in that mixer.

Got a few more of this left and it's very good but again, thanks to the keg hopping I did. I've left it alone for more than a week and I should have enough to last until next weekend then it's goodbye.
It's a very good and different session beer and while this one is not close to the real thing, I very much enjoy it.

According to my "hash mark way" of counting pours, I have about 10 more left in my keg of this great beer. I'd have to look at my notes (not happening tonight), but I'm sure thats were my dry hop cylinder is. My peg board says it was kegged in August and it still smells of Amarillo. So yeah, I'm a big fan of keg hopping too. I usually brew this with the plan to use some of the 007 yeast slurry in a bigger beer. Guess I'm off to the White Labs site to find a new big beer style that this yeast works well with for the next time I brew it. Maybe a Barleywine?
I do enjoy having this as my go to Amber Ale, it's just a damn good beer.
