No worries, that's just for MBC beers. It's specifically made to cause so much foam you can't drink those beers thus saving one from having to stomach them.

New from Ronco!
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

That's weird. I just ran into another of those devices...

It makes me think that there are a bunch of people that realize craft brew drinkers is a growing market and they want to sell them stuff but they don't actually want to learn what they would want to buy.

That's an outrageous price but, I think, would at least have functional similarity to the etchings they put on the bottom of beer glasses to encourage bubbles for aroma release. And my tap has a "creamer" function for the same reason. But using a glorified whisk to beat the carbonation out seems, in the words of The Hat, "stoopit."

Or folks should just learn how to pour it with gusto instead of being such a careful hipster.

It's a investor's standard rule: You don't buy stock in the oil company. You buy stock in the oil drum manufacturing company. The oil stock is a risky, fluctuating entity. But you can't move the oil without the drums. So there will always be a steady market in them.

About the same thing here. They're not trying to sell you beer. They're trying to sell you beer related items. Beer's popularity will come and go and so will the investments made in them. But come up with a product that beer consumers MUST have and you'll have a steady business.

These guy need to try again. This is the dumbest thing since Miller came out with the "Turbo Neck" bottle. Or whatever it was they called it.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
