Enjoy. Or send some to me.

What I believe is my Patriot Lager with 1/4oz Glacier hops.
Good judgment comes from experience, which comes from poor judgment.

That's a nice lookin beer. Color reminds me of Yuengling. Never used Glacier hops before. How's it taste?
Re: First Pour picture thread.
I haven't tried the Patriot Lager plain so can't say how different it is with the Glacier hops but it is the 2nd brew I used them in, the other being the old Mr.B Father's Day Cream Ale recipe kit, and so far I'm really liking them. They seem to add a mild cream flavor or smoothness to the finishing end of the beer's flavor. The only other hops I've used are Columbus and these are toned down on the bitterness end compared to them.

First pour of a Belgian IPA, similar to the old New Belgium 'Belgo'. I really like the intersection of Belgian yeast & American hops!
Drinking: Columbus Double India Pale Ale

My latest, Saison d'Été
Man this is good, light, refreshing...
Can't tell it's 8.5% ABV! Scary!
You can taste the Belle Saison yeast, very nice, just a hint of tartness.... Some fruityness..
The aroma is of citrus, sweet orange...
The taste follows suit adding a slight note of tangerine followed by the light peppery finish of the grains of paradise.
And pretty dry, 'digestable' as the Belgians would say...
Awesome!

Re: First Pour picture thread.
What a cool thread. Very interesting to look at all those different styles and learn from the comments.
Those Glacier hops sound like something I would like to try down the road DirtRacer. I wrote that one down.
It's actually very frustrating to look at all those tasty looking beers and not be able to.... taste them.
I was going to make a comparison to porn here but I figured if I did things would go way off the tracks and I don't want to derail this wonderful thread.
So with that I'm going to Nube it up with not only a first pour, but a first ever pour. This was the CAL that came with the kit I bought at the Bed, Bath & Beyond discount table.
I did everything wrong temperature wise (it sat in my basement, and on day 3 or 4 a heat wave sent the temp to 80+ This was BC (before cooler)
I only fermented for 2 weeks (before hydrometer) and so on and so forth. Clueless, (before Borg) When the temps went haywire I found you guys looking for answers.
So thanks! to the Borg I've got my act together somewhat since then, have been fortunate enough to stubble on some fantastically nice people, and am learning.
Here's my um... first attempt. (Still have 3 liters conditioning 7 weeks, haven't tasted in 2)
