Finally Bought a Chest Freezer.
After many months of insufficient space, cooling, I finally bought a 5 CU FT. chest freezer. I got the Frigidaire at PC Richard on sale, which is perfect for what I need. I can easily fit two- 5 Gal cornies, and one 2.5 gal corny,, plus 1-co2 tank. The floor of this thing also fits a 6 gal carboy, and probably two 2.5 gal carboys, which I will need for cold crashing. I could have easily gone with the 7 CU one, but didn't do so because of the size and weight. Also, I looked at 3.5 CU one, but it doesn't fit hardly anything-only one 2.5 gal keg.
Finally, I will not have to worry about keeping my kegs cold.

Sweeeeet. Have fun kegging and lagering!
Re: Finally Bought a Chest Freezer.
I have been kegging my wine-fridge, but am moving to new apt. The wine fridge always frosts, and is hard to keep the beer below 45F without thawing it out. So I decided to just give the wine fridge away, because it is heavy as hell, and go with a chest freezer. I can't believe I didn't go this route before. It's way lighter. I can cold crash easily. If my wort doesn't get chilled in the 60's, after passing it through my plate chiller I can always crank up the freezer temp to get it pitching temp right away. I brought 3 of my kegs to PC richard to test it out, because I didn't trust my card-board outlines. Anyways, all the kegs fit with ease, and the chest freezer isn't extremely heavy like the wine fridge.
Who knows, with the way this hobby is going, I'm probably gonna be drilling holes in this thing soon and putting up taps or building a collar to be able to store more kegs.

Nice chill box. It's a little bigger than mine, I wish I would have gone with a bigger one.
Life is short, live it to it's fullest!
