LOL, all I was doing is posting to some noobs looking for help, after I helped them. Pretty chicken shit if you ask me. They don't have the stones to answer all our questions we ask on the forum, but sends chicken shit e-mails like this? THEY, and I mean Mr. Beer, can now kiss my ass. After that, I will forever tell people that their products are not worth the money and will always shoot people over to Brew Demon.

I am now an unpaid salesman for Brew Demon, rock on!

My guess is that Louie and JimJohnson are going to get similar emails as they've also posted the link to this forum.

Oh well, if you can't take the heat, shut down the crappy forum.

I gave them three weeks to fix my goddamn post count and profile. They said I had "multiple accounts" which is nonsense. Screw that forum. I'm soooo done with it.

All the cool kids are here now.

The only website I have ever seen MrBeer sensitive about is Brew Demon. I wonder if they are associating this site with them. We are not selling anything therefore this cannot be a competition website. I have put up URLs to the AHA forums, Home Brew Talk forums, and Beersmith forums, and they never had any issue with any of those. Nor have they ever had issues with me putting up URLs to midwestsupplies, northernbrewer, or rebelbrewer. And those places do sell things that MrBeer sells. This is interesting.

Since you said this forum "is supported by a different brewing company", I'm surprised they were so lenient. ;)
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

WOW...you know what really catches my eye? The last sentence of his email. "This is your only warning". That sounds like a threat to me. And that gentlemen...is bullshit!!! I wonder what he would do if you continue to post "urls to competitive websites"?

I too will no longer buy anything from MB. Not that I bought a lot anymore anyway, but I'm done. I sure hope BrewDemon starts to do seasonals. Those were the most interesting to me.

Well, there is a section on this forum for Brew Demon recipes and I'm sure if they went to beerborg.com they'd see Louie's post about 'Brewing with the Demon' and other info in blogs and that is obviously not what they want people to see. As a small business owner a respectable fear of the competition is understood but some are not as confident of their business as others so I guess it bothers them much like if someone came into my business and talked with my customers about my competition in very convincing language.

But, this forum is not about any one supplier, it's about home brewing and all the options that are available to us. I doubt that 95% of us would even be here if it weren't for what they did to themselves and destroyed a good forum for both Mr. Beer users and homebrewers in general. Personally, I've moved on and won't say anything more about them except I wish them well and thank them for letting me meet all the great folks that are here now.

Very interesting! I have not yet received any "warning" at all and my very direct post has not been removed yet. (I'm not sure they can or know how at this point)

Also just so everyone is clear BrewDemon is only the first business to help support this site but they are not exclusive and do not in anyway influence what can or cannot be posted here. Also I have even offered Mr. Beer to come and participate here and to communicate what is going on with their forum and site in general.
