This place is better than "Cheers"...
The Nong Brewery defines "Fermentation" as: Making "Rot" a Good Thing

And many are even worse... Luckily we have moderators, so when really bad jokes are posted you can request that they be removed or moved to a special board that Louie is adding called "Jokes That Aren't Worth Reading".
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

Welcome,
This is a great group of guys and gals, most I believe from the old MB site. Great mentors. Search the site, it's probably been asked before and if you can't find what you need don't hesitate to ask.

To the elders: How is the search function on this site? Is it best to google with a string like Rick used to have or just use the site search? I know we lost all of the info from posts on the MB site.

Most sites have poor search capabilities unless they purchase a 3rd party product. I haven't spent a lot of time searching this site, but you could of course use Google on this or any site to get a better result.

To search this site with Google: site:beerborg.com/forum/TYPE SEARCH TERM HERE

And to search the old Mr. Beer forum, go into your bathroom or bedroom and look into a mirror and talk to yourself... The cheat by using Google cache is now gone, so the only way to get to the old posts will be if Mr. Beer either ports them into the new forum or puts up the old forum in a search-only format. All that knowledge gone.
