Very interesting list with a few surprises but a lot of familiar brews on this list.

Like any list, consider the source. This is compiled from one rating source, where people provide subjective ratings. Some of them are probably very sophisticated tasters, others could be MHL drinkers (couldn't resist). Also note that less popular beers, often due to distribution, get less exposure and less ratings.

I don't see any of my beers on the list... Taste is in the mouth of the beholder.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

I've had 15 of those 20, and two are in my cellar. Great beers...

I've had 3 (the Russian River offerings). Not sure how many of the others that I'd even want to try.

Knowing your love of dark beers, that doesn't surprise me. But I think you'd likely like the 3F, the Dreadnaught, the Hopslam (possibly), and the Westys.

Unfortunately no... Been a while since I've tasted one, though I think I'll have to get a St Bernardus Abt 12 next time I'm at the beer store as a reasonable sub...

It's great to see so many stouts on that list. I love IPAs but I'm a little tired of my friends always touting the most hoppy brew as being the best.

Strangely enough, stouts seem to be taking over as the new "it" beer style and IPAs are starting to trail behind, though still a very strong IPA following. Also, strangely enough, I've only ever had ONE of those beers on that list, and it's Pliny the Elder. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I preferred Heady Topper over Pliny as far as flavor goes.
