Programmable Stir Plate???

Help me out here, what would there be to program? Have I been doing my starters wrong by just turning it on and letting it spin for 24 hours???

I think the idea is that if you are a decanter (as opposed to someone like me who pitches the entire starter at as close to high krausen as I can), then you could have it turn itself off without going to look at it, so the yeast can settle to the bottom before you brew while you are at work or playing golf.

Of course you could just turn it off yourself and brew the next day without any gizmos.
