Hey did you guys get your kilts dirty already?? What's with the plain ole everyday pants?
Okay I'm going to take a wild stab at this pic and guess from left to right:
Redbeard>Swen>Beer_Lord>BlackDuck>Dawg>Ink SOOOO!!! Did I win the new car??
Hope you guys are having fun (DUH ) and sorry db couldn't be there. Hope ya'll get to catch up with him before you have leave.
Was drooling over BD's menu thread earlier sounds like you know how to throw a party.
Are the wives still speaking to or does the silent treatment start when you get back home.
Looking forward to hearing each of your posts when you get back on.

you got Dawg and Swen backwards.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Looks like a Police line-up.
What is best in life?" "To crush your enemies -- See them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"
Re: Dirty Santa from Casa d Borg
I had a lot of fun not only picking the beer for this, but also stealing the beer from Steve. Ok, maybe it wasn't fun stealing the beer, but when he unwrapped a Blackstone Bourbon Barrel aged Imperial Stout I knew he wasn't going to keep it.
It turned out ok as he found a bottle at a great little bottle shop Swen took us to later. So he did not go home without one.

Darn!
I pegged Dawg as Swen because of the brew beard, which I'd have thought he would sport since he spins so much time at the local breweries helping out.
Swen how did you get them to let you in without facial hair???
I'll take anything one of you guys are holding as a consolation prize though.

Yep as soon as I opened I knew I wasn't returning to Ohio with that particular bottle! Especially after tasting what came out of the barrel Saturday!

Linus doesn't rock the facial hair at Yazoo, and neither does Derrick at CSB, so I fit right in! Fortunately, neither does Bailey at Jackalope or Karen at Corsair. I guess it's a Nashville brewer thing...Brewbirds wrote:Swen how did you get them to let you in without facial hair???

Let me know what you think about those. I liked them and wish there were year around brews.

Steve, I think the Peanut Butter Cup coffee porter you "donated" will be shared tonite while my daughter is in town...and if we can get to it this weekend, the Cool Springs brewery Early Riser Coffee Stout that swen found for me at Frugal Mcdugals. I'll let you know what they think about it. I'm not a PB type guy but the coffee stout part has me very curious.Dawg LB Steve wrote:Lazy Magnolia's Me & The Dev-Ale have been chilling down for tonite!
Of course before then I have a few homebrews to dispense with...maybe one or two of Jim J's fine brews?
Re: Dirty Santa from Casa d Borg
I am having the ReBirth Pale Ale from NOLA brewing. Its not too bad, a little caramel sweet for me but not bad. Poured into my new Yazoo can style glass. This glass is great, it really traps the aroma nicely.
