I canceled the Magnum and ordered Kent Goldings. I love stouts and these could work for a stout recipe.

Magnum is good for bittering in just about anything

I would rather use the pellets so that I won't have to guess the IBUs from using my own home grown leaf hops.

Besides Simcoe, Zeus (Columbus/CTZ) is one of my favorite "stand alone" hops to put in a beer. And it plays well with others too.

Use the homegrown for flavor and aroma
More tollerance
