Chuck, the Peanut Butter does not come thru strong, just subtle flavor playing nice with the coffe flavor. Glad you reminded me I have a growler of this!

That's actually a well reviewed beer but like Abita, I can taste a NOLA beer miles away. This is made for the masses but with some flair. I enjoy one every now and again. Not award winning but not a throw away.

Ok...so here is the second part of the gift exchange. Irish Channel Stout from NOLA. First, let me say that stouts are not me most favorite style. That being said, I kind of like this. There is a lot going on. Coffee on the aroma, chocolate with some bitterness on the flavor. And it actually finished very smooth with little aftertaste. I may just go out and say that this is probably the best beer from NOLA that I have had. So thanks for the NOLA gifts, they were enjoyed tonight.

Glad you liked it. I think it's NOLA's best beer. What's better is THIS beer with 25% kept in a rum barrel and mixed later. I forget what they call it but it was only available at their tap room.

Glad you enjoyed it.
