Re: What are you drinking?
I'm not quite buzzed but I'm closer than I was all last weekend (maybe because I drank water all the time).
that said, this Peanut butter cup coffee beer that I got from Dirty santa (THANKS STEVE) IS A HIT with the wife and daughter. And the roasty coffee flavor FAR exceeds the peanut butter (I don't even taste it, but sorry, chris, this is ROASTY!!!!) that its going to keep me awake tonite. Thanks Steve for sharing this.
It's not Crooked Letter Mystery Romp but it I S the next best thing. SERIOUSLY. THIS. IS. AWESOME. SHIT.
Later in the week or next week I'll see how it compares to the other coffee beers I have from Franklin TN and Abita.

Now that I think about this at raises a good question.Dawg LB Steve wrote:Seriously there were a lot of beers tasted last weekend, but there was not a time that I ever thought, I had reached a point of questionable consumption. But we did of a lot of tasting, not just pounding beers down!
I wonder if people pound down beers to make their present company more enjoyable. Since the company I was with was fantastic the beer was just there to be enjoyed.

Personally I think the "pounders" (with the exception of the ones with a drinking problem) simply don't like the taste, and are just drinking them for the buzz.

Re: What are you drinking?
Jim this came about from Paul's mispronunciation of Avery's beer called DuganA. He pronounced it like the beer originated from Central Africa, which cause great laughter from Chris and I. So after that, any time the beer was brought up we would add the clicking tongue sounds native to that language. nic, noc, kik, tk. Kinda like the sound to get a horse to Getty up.jimjohson wrote:Dawg LB Steve wrote:Man am I slow! I just got this!Beer-lord wrote:You sound drunk to me.....clc...tk....noc....tsk

Re: What are you drinking?
What a sobering thought. I can see that happening. Sounds like an excellent opportunity to find new company, being with people that can only be tolerated when drunk. But I'm glad you guys were in good company at that time. I wish I could have been there.Inkleg wrote:I wonder if people pound down beers to make their present company more enjoyable.
