This weekend would have been great to brew. Low 60's today, low 70's tomorrow and perfect for all the parades that start the Mardi Gras season. Can't believe I've not brewed in so long....almost 2 months and that just can't happen so next weekend, sometime between Sunday and Tuesday-Gras (17th) I'm brewing 2 batches. Might even do 2 in one day if I get to crazy. I doubt the weather will be as good but we're coming up to some of the best brewing weather of the year soon and I need to get my brew on.
In the meantime, I'll just follow you other lucky bastards who are brewing this weekend.
Cheer me up with pictures if you're brewing.

Re: Missing it this weekend
I'm brewing this weekend (Bit O' Bitter) but not next weekend. I'm kegging a fiver of 2Daves Irish Red next Saturday, and would ordinarily brew a fiver on Sunday, but we're going to Brooklyn to see my daughter's new apartment on Sunday, so I have to put it on hold. It's just as well, since kegging the 2Daves will mean all three kegs are full, and I've only begun to tap one of them. So the break will keep me from having to bottle two cases of beer.

We had great weather here today also, and I couldn't brew. Just too much going on. I have next Sunday marked on the calendar to brew. I just hope next Sunday's weather is as good or better than today.

Last brewed 3 weeks ago, with what I brought home and still have on tap, it might be another 4or 5 weeks till the next brew. Kegging 15 gallons of my Pils tomorrow, but that is spoken for first week of March.

Re: Missing it this weekend
Paul, I feel for you. I had a big old spell where I couldn't brew and it down right depressed me. I'm gonna bottle and brew next weekend. I'll share whatever I decide to brew if it will provide you any comfort at all. As a matter of fact, I might have a novice brewer coming to join me next weekend, so it may be a pretty cool time. I hope you're able to start back up yourself very soon.
