Seventh Son Super Pale Ale
1 pint, canned
Sent to me by BlackDuck
Pale golden color with a bit of orange hue. Poured with a thick, creamy, meringue-like head that just grabbed the aroma and made it both stick in the glass and at the same time waft through the kitchen so I could smell it from 5 feet away. The Simcoe and Mosaic make this smell like an IPA. They aren't playing around.
The taste is hops up front, hops in the middle and hops on the finish with a wonderfull lingering flavor that I would say is not bitter but crisp.
It has enpugh body to not be confused with a session ale, but not as heavy as some IPAs can be. It's Sofa King good.
As it warms a bit the malt comes through a bit more as a solid, consistent presence and a great sensation across the tongue that tingles and tickles. Wow.
I'm falling in love with pale ales all over again and this is why. It's that good.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS.

Your welcome. I thought you would like it. And that is a great description. I love it too. One of the BBQ places we frequent usually has this stuff on draft and it's even better on draft. It's just so full of hops, yet very drinkable.
Glad you enjoyed it...cheers Ron!!!
