Brewed a Small Batch Today

Post by John Sand »

For the first time since April, I made a half batch today. I kind of forgot how easy it is. Heats and cools faster, way easier to lift and pour. And my next batch will be an extract+grains kit I ordered online. I've become a slouch. Shhhh!

Never mind, there it is.

Not a slouch by any means....just more efficient in some ways.
I plan on doing a 3 gallon brew designed in Nashville in the coming months and I'll likely do it in doors. But, I really enjoy being outdoors and brewing.

Very true, but only 1/2 the beer to drink :)

That's why I like doing extract kits, decent beer and not a lot of time brewing. I like doing partial BIAB but never had the equipment or time to do AG, but the time and equipment factor is changing and I'm almost there, but I will still do a lot of extract (slouch :) )

I make good beer when I'm slouching and good beer when I am not, so I will happily slouch on... diddley on...

Thats one of the reasons I always keep HMEs on hand - for those times I just dont have time to spend the time but wanna brew.
