Re: What are you drinking?
A Straight to Ale Rocket Red Ale followed by a Blackstone Red Trail Black Kölsch while shopping for beers at the Filling Station... got the Black Kölsch for Kealia... And bought a bottle of Rogue Sriracha Stout. Yes, this one will be quite interesting...

It's officially Spring-Time in Minnesota!
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Became a favorite in the stout/porter style on my trip to the State up North last week, Atwater Vanilla Java Porter.

Drop Kick Nate with El Dorado
I'll definitely make this again. It's a cross between a pale ale and an IPA
It's only been in the keg 6 days so in another week or two it'll be perfect

Baby's here, so let's have a beer! Kicked off the official celebration of Olivia's birth with a couple bombers of Saison d'Olivia, and that beer is fan-friggin-tastic! Dry and tart, but so deliciously citrusy. The ginger gives it a nice kick in the finish, and quite a good deal of the bubblegummy component from the yeast. I need to brew more of this but I won't be able to get blood oranges for much longer this year. With the baby here now, I won't get another chance to brew it again till next year, probably. I guess I can always brew it with regular navel oranges during the rest of the year.
