Pics from Browns Backers event I brewed for.

Post by Dawg LB Steve »

Just a few pictures from the SE Michigan Browns Backers Annual Banquet that I brewed all the beer for. Went with a little over 25 gallons to serve 90 people in attendance, came back with maybe 2 gallons, all three were a hit ! People were amazed that I brewed this in the garage, a lot insisted I worked at a brewery and did this on the side, and called BS on me when I told them I ran a parts dept for a forklift company and I had only been brewing for 15 months!

This is so unbelievable as to question its validity. I call BS.

There cannot be 90 Browns fans...

Thanks was pretty cool to do, the event also raised over $5500.00 for the Penrickton Center for Blind Children, and Mack and Byner WANTED to hang with me and talk about beer, instead of me wanting to hang with them talking football!

That's so cool, it defies description.

Well done, Dawg. I especially like how people couldn't believe you were "just some guy brewing in his garage." That's homebrewing in a nutshell, and you're representing like a BOSS! Thanks for helping to raise money for a good cause, too. That's cooler than cool.

Good luck to the Browns next season. My BIL roots for them, and my son and I sorta follow them, although we're die-hard Giants fans first and foremost! But the Browns have a special place in our hearts, too. They've had such a tough time of it, they're due for a good season!

I was going to sling some poop about having a Browns party in Michigan, but I see it was for a good cause so good job with the beer slinging. Maybe Hoyer can start slinging the pig skin as well as you slung the beer!

That won't help much since he's no longer a Brown...

But Dawg, what you did there is awesome!

Thanks Guys! I only brewed and attended, SE Michigan Browns Backers do this on a yearly basis ALL the credit goes to them! I got hooked up with them as their past President comes down to Cleveland for games and tailgates with our group Burnt River Browns Backers.
:thanks:

Incredibly cool, Steve. Nice job w/ the brews, too! And of course, for helping to raise money for a good cause.

I hope no one ribbed Coach Byner about holding on tight to his solo cup. :p

Just kidding - he's a good man and both he and Mack are class acts to participate in such an event.

Having pictures of famous people drinking your homebrew -- priceless. Having those famous people wanting to talk with you about your homebrew -- even more priceless (or....less....priceful?)!
