Re: What are you drinking?
The kids and grandkids came over today for St Paddy's Day thing so I tapped the keg of Shillelagh Red Ale. They brought corn beef & cabbage and red skin, roast potatoes...we'll have to sleep with the windows open and exhaust fans on tonight or somebody could asphyxiate.

Glad you could enjoy on this fitting day. I have some left on tap but want to hold out to take some up to Wisconsin when we go in April for the youngest grand daughters birthday.BlackDuck wrote:I am washing my open face reuben sandwich down with a Montucky Brewing Traveling Irish Red. Totally chomped on a reuben sandwich and washed it down with Bubs' IPA. I love this beer.

Re: What are you drinking?
Great citrus/floral aroma that carries through to the taste then changes to the bitterness of the hops.

Re: What are you drinking?
Had a New Belgium Oatmeal IPA that was surprisingly good. But I tasted no oatmeal nor felt the oatmeal in it. Nice bitterness to match some mild sweetness. Also had a Pow! Rye in the Kisser that was very good. Didn't get all that much rye but it was a nice, mellow kind of rye.

A really big can of beer. It's pretty much a centennial forward session IPA. Good too.

First time trying this Sierra Nevada Hop Hunter IPA. Its a close cousin to Green Flash Palate Wrecker but a tad bit smoother. I find it still needs more aroma...but as usual for SN beers, it's great quality.
