Nah, its been that way for a long while so don't worry about it. Plus, we're not 'status quo' guys so this stuff shouldn't matter to us. And, at least Heineken is on the list.

Yet its interesting just how frightened and adjusting the majors are becoming. The commercials lately (and frankly I don't see all that many commercials) have been sarcastically knocking craft beers................even during the superbowl.
And then they go and buy some craft breweries....if you can't beat them, buy them.

But look at it this way: 20 years ago, those beers were all that was available. Nowadays it doesn’t take much effort to find a good local craft beer, usually just a walk to my kitchen! And the movement continues to grow, so the picture isn’t as depressing as it might seem, to me.

Good point alb.....I just went into my kitchen fridge and found 5 bottles of 3 different AWESOME craft beers. My 2 small fridges in my garage have a keg of homebrew and the other has the best beer made in La..........alb wrote:But look at it this way: 20 years ago, those beers were all that was available. RDWHAHB Dave and do it again, We know good beer but the general masses haven't learned that yet and most never will.

Good points, everyone. Status quo is, indeed, difficult to buck, but the craft movement rolls on, and we already know it's gaining steam.
I don't know if anyone read the comments section below the article, but my eyes were rolling so much, I think you could hear them in Oxnard. That one guy who said, essentially, "If it's cheap and gets me drunk, that's what I'm going for!"
Guess that's BMC's target market.

The only beer I've consumed in recent memory off of that list is #18.... and why I drank one of those I do not remember, but I was in PA I think, and it was probably the best thing they had at the place.

Let's also keep in mind that "most popular" -- i.e. best-selling -- does not necessarily mean the best quality. Who sells more hamburgers than McDonald's? But are McDonald's hamburgers the best hamburgers out there?
If you answered "yes," you probably drink one of the beers on that list.
