I think it will be interesting to load my successful recipes in from QBrew to see how they compare on style, color, OG, FG and IBU from one to the other.
If you save your Qbrew recipes as a beer.xml file you can open them in BeerSmith with no problem. That might save you some time instead of manually loading them in.

HEY how did I answer me? I don't know that I would load them all, but would look at side by side some and load the standout recipes though. Just a curious look at stats for the most part, when I brew the same recipe I do re-enter the info and keep notes for that batch, like my Pils I've done 3 times and have the recipe loaded and saved for each batch.Dawg LB Steve wrote:I think it will be interesting to load my successful recipes in from QBrew to see how they compare on style, color, OG, FG and IBU from one to the other.

Steve. In BeerSmith, you wouldn't need to re-enter the recipe multiple times. You can just keep detailed notes with brew dates in the note section on the bottom of the recipe.

had it for 2 years now, and I am still finding things it does I didn't know about.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
Edgar Allan Poe
