Wish I would have been available to have noticed this thread. I would have loved to brew a lager for this book.

Re: A Call for Test Brewers!
Just wondering if anyone has gotten through this book and/or brewed any of the recipes from the book? I've read through most of the book and it has some really good tips, suggestions and information for newer brewers that I think is valuable, but I also think that my processes and brewing method has some benefits over what she describes in the book. I still think 2 - 2 1/2 gallons is a sweet spot for "smaller" batch brewing.
Thoughts?

Re: A Call for Test Brewers!
I like the book and brewed the hoppy apple cider....its been in bottles for 2 weeks now. I agree its alot of work for only 1 gallon so i prefer to do at least 2 gallons as well
Re: A Call for Test Brewers!
The great thing is that we can always double the recipes...
I have yet to brew anything from the book, but I intend to (probably as 2.5ish gallons scaled up/down). The samoa coconut ESB is totally calling my name.
