A lot of good brewing going on. I need to get some brewing going on. Maybe after the daughter's play happens I'll have some time...

For those coming in late on the thread, here are the rules of the thread: Post one, and only one, post. Edit that post throughout the year to update your brewing totals (do not add a new post each time... this just keeps it tidy). List what you're brewing, how much, and maybe a running gallon total. That's about it!

How much have you brewed in 2015?

Post by Rebel_B »

+/- 15 gallons here in 2015... The pipeline was 'severely' drained during the NFL football season. Correcting the inventory now with more brews fermenting!

+/- 58 gallons by July 3rd

+/- 102 gallons by November 22nd

+/- 110 gallons by December 16th

+/- 120 gallons by December 29th

I've been brewing a lot as always ... but I've really simplified my recipes and reduced the number of recipes on the rotation. I do almost all either IPA or stout.
AG BIAB. Fermenter pails and corny kegs. :clink:

I just kegged batch #298 and batch #299 is in the fermenter. I can't believe my next batch will be my three hundredth batch since I started in 1/10 ... and most of them have been five gallon batches .. although in the early days there were a lot of lbk size batches. I'm a maniac, I know.

Almost every bit of this beer, save a few times when folks came over, was drank by yours truly .. and I still work full time. Often, I get cleaned up in the brew room and to bed after midnight, and I have to get up at 5am. I'm a maniac.

Well, I've brewed 20 gallons although one was a 15 gallon batch split 3 ways. After big brew day I'll be up to 40. I'm already ahead of my last 2 years combined!

That right there is a lot of brewing in 7 months!

I figure I've only brewed about 50-60 gallons so far this year. It's a challenge brewing in the heat of summer here, SWMBO isn't too excited about me putting a/c in the brewroom...go figure. So I expect come this Fall and early Winter I'll do the bulk of my 2015 brewing...

25 gallons to-date this year. Enough to keep me happy with the amount of commercial beer I've been picking up.
I have no plans to brew anytime soon....I'm quite full at the moment.

How much have I brewed this year? Not enough! Just when I thought my pipeline was coming back to life, BOOM! July 4th rolls around and I'm tapped out. My little brewer's assistant is taking up a lot of my time, and not complaining about it, but I'm having a hard time getting into a regular brewing rhythm again. I've got a lot of beer on my queue that needs to be brewed for personal consumption or for possible festival sampling, and not much time to brew it.

It happens, Phil. You know I spent my last three batches on wedding beer, and my pipeline is severely depleted. And I've brewed over 80 gallons this year already!

I have done about 8 or 9 or so batches, some 2-1/2 and 3 gallon and four or five 5 gallon batches. I don't keep records, I just try to keep the pipeline full. I keep good recipe records but not so much on what when and such. So all told maybe some 30-40 gallons of various delicious home brews. Out of that probably half or so resting, chilling, or being eye loved... Oh, have 4 batches in the fermenting chamber now. 1 all grain, 1 partial mash and 2 dreaded MB lbk's (among my last order from them by the way).
