If you're a fan of the rock group Rush and you have Turner Classic Movies on your cable or satellite system TCM is showing the old movie "Mr. Deeds Goes To Town". The movie which Rush based it's song, "Cinderella Man" on. Great movie. Great song.

Saw them back in the 80's I think the ticket, for a good seat too, was like $15!

I stopped going to concerts several years ago. The crowds are getting to be too big and too much. And lately the ticket prices to see the bands I grew up on are usually out of this world expensive. If I see a band that I like in a more personal setting than an arena or huge concert hall I'll go in a heart beat. But putting a CD on my stereo (when I get it hooked up again) and listening to the music in the privacy of my own home is all the joy I need from it.

I'd love to see them but I'm afraid the crowd would be way too much for me. 2s a crowd, 3s a good reason to grab my shotgun...

My wife Carol and I went to see a three piece "power rock" band last nigh. They were "ok". I drank Bud. $5/bottle.

I have excellent home brewed ales in my house on tap all the time. When I go out, I'll just take some "party lager".

So awesome! Home brewers are everywhere! Inspection today and the insured had a nice set up. Deaf family so communication was difficult but everyone speaks beer! He gave me a honey pale ale to take home and try. Looking forward to 5pm!!!

I love craigslist! Just went from 3 kegs to 8 kegs. 5 extra kegs now at $50 each. Guy owned a Thai restaurant and was using the kegs to make soda there. Got out of the business. Kegs are a few years old and he purchased them from a local brew store for $75 each. Pretty happy with the costs since I haven't found anything better online and he was asking $75 each in the listing. Can't wait to start filling them up! Feeling an imperial stout in the future or something I can keg and forget about for 6months or so.

Me and Yank met up for lunch today. Talked family, jobs, and oh yeah, beer. I got a couple of bottles of cider, gave him an APA and a Cream Ale. Hopefully the picture show up here.

I seen something yesterday for the first time. A Fisher Cat. I knew they were around our area but had never seen one, and there has been a lot of sightings of them. Bigger then a house cat, part of the mink and weasel family. I've shot a lot of minks and weasels when I had chickens and they are a nasty and mean animal. I can't imagine what these things could do to a house cat or even a small dog, they are 2 or 3 times bigger then a mink, and a mink will put up a hell of a fight to a dog. No natural predators for them except for humans. Soo... they are on my list of things to kill along with coyotes, shoot on sight, no questions asked and no season.

Careful about wasting those awful predators. At-least in ND, those damn chicken killers are protected. The saying is shoot, shovel, shut-up around here. We are starting to see more and more of them.

Sorry dude (or should I say Dad) but all I got was a picture of two old farts out in front of a restaurant.
