JJ's Middletown Pale Ale works quite nicely for watching bball. Nice, smooth, balanced pale ale. Quite good. I just discovered the bottles hiding in the beer fridge. Score! I'm trying to drink only on weekends, so I'm not burning through inventory much right now, so things are lingering much more than I'd like.

I split a liter of Michigan Red with one son, the other had a Ring Your Bell Brown, SWMBO had a Raspberry Oktoberfest, and older son's girlfriend had the last Raspberry HCD.

I have to say that this first one I had of the sixer was under-whelming. I remember it being really good with a great aroma of Citra and I didn't get that from this at all. The beer wasn't cold when I picked it up and it only spent 2 hours in the fridge before I had one so maybe it had something to do with that. Or maybe my tastes have changed in the 2 years since I've had one and I need more hops than this presents.

I'll have another in a few days. Good luck with your version!

Last night I had the Delicious IPA from Stone. First I'll say that I'm a huge Stone fan. But this one was really kind of disappointing to me. It had kind of a weird flavor to it for me. Maybe it was the Eldorado hops. I certainly didn't get all the lemon/citrus flavor that I was expecting from this, but that's just me. Maybe it's there, and I just can't pick up on it. Either way, I'm not so sure that I'll buy this again. There are so many other IPA's out there that I like a lot more than this one. I've got 5 more to drink, so we'll see if it grows on me any, but I doubt it.

You didn't get the candied orange peel? :p

It's far from my favorite so I doubt I'll buy it, either. I got a few bottles from a friend and drank those a few weeks ago.
It's very lemony/citrusy to my palette, but not the best offering by far.
