Why did I wait so long to buy an immersion chiller?

I use the same exact strainer and many times, have to stop 2-4 times because it gets so clogged.
It's getting close to that time of year when our groundwater temps are so high, it makes the use of a pond pump and ice a good idea. I've never looked back since using one of those since my ground in the mid to late summer makes it hard for my chiller to even get to 100.

I stirred mine too, but evidently didn't think about it enough to let it settle for a while before
siphoning because I really didn't have alot of break material left in the kettle.
I might use the chiller itself next time instead of my brew spoon.
