Enjoying the last of the days warm sunlight in the pool with a Cream Ale... That is one delicious chugger...
Not so nice as it warms though... Unlike the big beers...

Beer.

Don't make me pull out my notes to figure out what it is.

It's a Nong Brew. I brew it. I love it. I pet it's little bottle cap. Then I rip it's Little head off and pour it's innards out and then drink it. I love my beer.

The Nong Brewery defines "Fermentation" as: Making "Rot" a Good Thing

I recently was the best man in a friend from high school's wedding. He got married in Banff Springs, Alberta, Canada, in The Fairmont Hotel. They had a local brewery known as 'Big Rock' make them a special brew celebrating their 125th anniversary. Suffice to say, It's all i drank over the 3 days. :fillup

Went to a local winery/cider mill and got to sample some really good hard ciders. My two favorites were the Crimson Red cider and the Rock Cock hard cider! Ended up bringing home a bottle of the Rock.

Now I'm sitting on my patio By the fire drinking an Atwood Brewery Vanilla Porter and felling mighty fine!

A friend at work gave me a bottle of Blind Pig IPA from Russian River (the makers of Pliny) so I drank it tonight.
Very solid IPA. Reading the history on this was interesting (I won't bore anybody with the details, it's easy enough to look up).

Crisp, piney, dry finish without feeling heavy or having an alcohol bite. Super clear, the glass frosted up a bit.

And to top it off, it was just about as fresh as could be!

I have no idea, something from a box of mystery.

It's good though. It has simcoe in it.

JimH's recipe for a 'Murican Wheat. excellent American Wheat beer using falconer's flight hops.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
