Just dumped in an ounce of Falconer's Flight hops for a dry hop on my DIPA. Normally this is of no concern, but some dingy..... yea, bats in 'is belfry.... did not think. Let me 'splain. I pried open the lid on the fermenting bucket so I could dump in da hops. I hear, but could not figure out what it was, something that sounded like tinkle tinkle. I stop'd open'n da lid and it stop'd. Ok, at this point I continue to open da lid and wow, heard dat tinkle tinkle again. I stop'd open'n da lid again and looked at my puppy wondering if he got tired of waiting to go outside. Nope, he's sitting there looking at me with his puppy dog eyes, perfectly innocent. So I finish removing the lid and dump in the hops. THEN I realize, I had just tip'd/empty'd da bubbler liquid into the fermenter. A total DOH moment... LOL. Glad I use vodka in all my bubblers, maybe it will give my brewskis a slight *kick* from tha addition.

Ya ever have one of those days you should have just stayed in bed?

Oh yeah, I have one of those "I'm an idiot" moments just about every time I do something brew related.

I've not used an airlock/blowoff set up to ferment with yet, so no mishaps like this. Maybe when I get to brew my next beer I'll use the bucket w/ the blowoff and see how it goes.

Nothing wrong with a little extra kick. Instead of a DIPA you'll have a VIPA.
