Not sure this is any different (in application) really then one of those Hop Infusers you can connect to your kegerator and pump your beer through on the way to the glass. It would probably turn swill into something better.

I'd argue with the term "craft" beer, but I wouldn't argue that this might be useful to someone.

It is kind of funny. It is crumbled hop pellets (you can see them in the sack) and some other spices they probably grabbed off the rack at a grocery store. I am sure it will make it better but agree that the term "craft" is not applicable here. They did not craft a beer with this. They produced something to supplement a flavor profile already established.

This cheapens the term "craft beer," and could create confusion in the minds of the non-savvy beer drinker.

Turns an ordinary lager into a craft beer, huh?

That's like claiming pouring chocolate syrup on broccoli turns it into candy.
