Big weather problems

Post by Beer-lord »

It sure has been quite a spring for us down south. Days and days of lots of rain and wind, even enough hail that my whole roof has to be replaced.
Today a line of storms came in and in one are that is still unconfirmed, they reported a gust of 112 MPH!!!!!

Look what happens to trains on a bridge with high winds.....

Hope they calm down before they get here.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Be safe all. While I miss big storms I certainly don't miss the destruction that goes with it.

Those elevated tracks always made me nervous, just don't seem natural for train cars to be up that high, but I never expected to see them blown off?!?
Wow, I better check in with my brother in Baton Rouge.

Hope things settle down soon for you and your neighbors BL.
